For many people the idea of having a lawned area in their garden is an attractive one even if it is only a small area but the problem with grass is that it continues to grow and so needs cutting every week or two during the spring and summer months. This in turn means that you need to have and store a lawnmower which can be a problem if you do not have a garden shed or a garage to house the mower, lack the time to mow the lawn and do not have the means to dispose of the resulting grass cuttings.
Artificial grass is becoming more and more popular as people look for solutions to these problems and as innovation in this area improves so does the quality of the product. Many people find it difficult to differentiate between a lawn with real grass and artificial grass if a good quality product is used and it is installed professionally.
The advantages of having artificial grass in the garden are felt particularly for people with young children as the lawn can be used all year round without the fear of bringing muddy footprints into the house in wet weather. Dog owners have also found benefits as they can more easily clean up after their dog and simply wash down the grass with a hosepipe.
